Crossposting test and two thoughts

1) There really needs to be more badasses with glasses. I mean, seriously, badass characters are now a dime a dozen and yet while it's perfectly normal now to dodge bullets with ease and always have a conveniently whiny backstory to sortanotreally explain why someone's a jerkass (thanks, Kratos!), merely wearing glasses is an anomaly.

A Wearer of Contact Lenses.

2) In more serious news, this quote from One Hundred Years of Solitude about Melquiades the gypsy really struck me. Enough so that if I decided to get a tattoo and if I wanted a literary quote, this would be one of the ones I'd consider (hopefully in Spanish):

"He really had been through death, but he had returned because he could not bear the solitude."

I'd probably opt for something from a more seminal book in my life, or a meaningful image (velociraptor tattoo if I ever get together with E?), but it resonates nonetheless.

*trying to remember if Clive Owen's character in The Bourne Identity wore glasses*

I really need to read that book. It's one of my dad's favorites.

And I just checked, Clive Owen's character did indeed have glasses. And was badass.

...Not that I know those movies too well or anything.
